our story
This is a story of love. A love between two threads that intertwine to create a delicate fabric, so soft to touch; between colours that blend perfectly; between tradition and modernity; between India and me. A story that brings a smile to each home. Each piece has its own story, representing a small moment of magic woven into our lives.
behind the name
Rangoli, inspired by ancient Indian art, symbolizes blessings, beauty, and harmony. Traditional Rangoli designs are created intricately outside homes in India every morning, welcoming joy and abundance. Our brand, Rangoli Home Design, aims to invite that same essence into your home.
Each item is carefully designed with precision and attention to detail, just as a traditional Rangoli is lovingly created. Our pieces tell the stories of generations before us, of craftmanship and artisans.
At Rangoli, we believe every item is a small work of art—adding a unique story to your home.
behind the brand
My name is Eden, and I am the founder of Rangoli, a small brand offering handcrafted works from artisans in India. I started Rangoli out of a deep passion for design and fabrics.
The story began in 2017 when I embarked on a journey to Nepal and India. I spent days exploring and searching for high quality, beautiful fabrics. I purchased a stock of cotton and silk learned how to sew. My journey continued with three years of traveling around the world, amazed by techniques, textures, designs, and colours. I learned to appreciate high-quality fabrics, precise colour combinations, and true craftsmanship.
I realized I no longer wanted to settle for boring and low quality garments, bed sheets and design. I wanted the finest quality, thoughtfully designed and most durable fabrics in my home and wardrobe. During one of my trips to India, I bought my first quilt. I fell in love with its soft touch and the special design that couldn't be found anywhere else in Israel, and I dreamed of bringing more of these pieces and sharing this unique art with others.
My passion for design grew, and with it a deep appreciation for the Indian block print technique, with its delicate colors that blend together to create art. And so, Rangoli was born. My dream is to continue spreading this art throughout homes around the world.
